Hivac PX230
Directly heated output triode

Hivac PX230
The only data I have comes from the AVO Valve Data
Manual, 15th. 1962 edition. The filament voltage is 2.0V. At Va=150
Vg1= -15, anode current is 17.5 mA and gm is 3.5 ma/V (mS). Anode
dissipation would be about 2.5W under these conditions. Hivac
specialised in miniature hearing aid valves. Conventional full
sized valves are unusual. This one has a late type B4 base with
spiral cut pins. The box for
this valve has great graphics
