Picture of M1EBV operating

I am a member of the Bristol RSGB Group. I am writing a website with some history of the group and of amateur radio in Bristol. I have also started to put two large collections of historic QSL cards from the 1920's online.

I am licensed as M1EBV and M3ABC. I enjoy contests and take part in many of the activities of the Bristol Contest Group. Recently I have been a member of the EJ2MT team in '04,'05,'06 and of the winning GW6YB/P entry in the 2007 50MHz Trophy. The photo above, of me operating the 70 cms. station, was taken on VHF NFD 2003. The silver plate is the Martlesham trophy, won by GW6YB/P in 2002. I am also a member of the Shirehampton Amateur Radio Club and the RSGB Bristol Group

I own several FT290Rs and a Racal RA17 with an RA37 LF adaptor. I also own a Yaesu FT920 for HF and an FT857 for mobile work.
