Here are some well known Bristol Amateurs apparently accepting a trophy. Although the photograph bears an inscription of "32/33" on the back, I suspect that this is the Bristol group accepting the trophy for the 1934 field day win?

The first field day was held in 1933, the winning group had used an existing, out-of-use, broadcast mast, which some felt to be against the spirit of the event. We came third. The next year much stricter rules on aerials and power supplies were introduced and Bristol won.
