G5YN Lt. Col. Sir Evan Y. Nepean Bt.

Sir Evan Nepean was a pioneer visitor to Nepal and, as AC4YN, was the first to activate that country as an amateur in 1936. He was a lifelong amateur radio enthusiast. He was SK in 2002 at 92. AC4YN is now an American call, held by Jeffery Stafford of North Carolina.
